Tiny moments

Does anyone ever have those tiny moments when something random happens and you ponder how amazing your life is?  I don’t get them often but I’ve learned if I embrace them, those moments become more frequent.  It can range from me thinking how blessed I am to have two legs, or that I was able to go out to eat for lunch.

Today it happened when I was studying on my porch and noticed an elderly gentleman ride by on his bicycle.  I watched him as he tightly clung to, what appeared to be, liquor.  I thought, “That liquor may be the most important thing in his life, and I’m complaining about having to study.”  Bold assumption aside, this man inspired me.  I hope to seek humility in small instances because, just maybe, I won’t be forced to be humble in extraordinary ways?
